How I missed this momentous event, I have no idea. Too much writing and blogging, and not enough paying attention to when I actually started my adventure.I am so very grateful to all of you for hanging in there with me with all of the changes in content and templates. It's been a rocky road I must say, but without all of you, I would have never been able to make it through.
Over the past year, I have managed to maintain my grades, making the President's List for the past two years. I have blogged until I actually needed glasses, but I really do like them now. I feel so intellectual...Sorry, back to writing.
I have also met so many interesting and wonderfully supportive people on the Ancient Digger. I can't tell you how much I have learned from all of you, and I so much appreciate you following me over the past year.
I would like to leave the floor open for any suggestions that all of you might have. I know in the past I have posted some polls about post frequency and the subject content. I really appreciate your opinions and I certainly want to make sure I post subjects you actually want to read about.
As you know, this is learning process for me as well. Once I start learning about a particular subject, I tend to post my findings in their entirety for all of you. Of course, I know you could find the same type of information on the web in a different form, but I hope I have been able to represent it in a way that makes it a bit more to the point and understandable.
So, to that end, I am going to be buying myself a new type of technology to start capturing a bit of a different perspective for all of you. Instead of writing a special edition every week, I thought I would include some video as well. If that's alright with all of you?
Tomorrow I will be picking up an ink cartridge-don't ask how that has anything to do with my post-and a new camera/video recorder. I hope to travel to some of the local forts around Florida that you may not be as familiar with.
Again, I love all of you and I love this site. My goal is to really branch out with the Ancient Digger and turn it into a sort of Discovery of NatGeo. If any of you have an interest in becoming a part of this endeavor, I would love to speak with you.
