I am so happy that I wer already able to hike this Fish river canyon in Namibia 4 times, and the most spectacular year were 2006 just after the enormous amount of rain that fell during March2006, we hiked it in June 2006 and the plants wer green, and amazing, I will definately encourage anyone to try hiking this trail, I only appeal that people will be considering the nature and not leve the rubbish, behind, only leave your footprints please.!! or els it will not be very long that this beutifull trail will be nothing left. I also wer already able to hike the nauwkloof trail in Namibia. I am trying to convince my children to hike the fish river canyon it is absolutely an amazing experience.
First thanks for the comment. I would love to be able to hike this. You are right about littering. Places as sacred at this should be honored and respected.
