Was just checking in on Sharon @CHJ and saw your comment that you might be attending the University of Chicago for your masters.
It's a great city (which you may already know) and at the University of Chicago no less.
Nice.
Let us know if it happens.

Ahhh, I was wondering when USA had Veteran's Day; we call it Armistice (former name) now Remembrance Day here in Oz.
Do you guys sell red poppies to raise money, too?

Speaking of which during a recent news story on the excavation of the British and Australian soldiers in the mass grave at Fromelles in France Peter Barton (Aussie historian) stated he'd read through old records which highlighted the fact that there are more mass graves yet to be uncovered.

@Jayne

It's usually on the 11th of November, but don't quote me on that. As for the poppies, I'm not exactly sure. I know that my college was one of th only ones open on Veterans Day, which I believe is a shame.

The mass graves that you are referring are very true, especially with the one in the Sahara, although I know we're talking about France. I am sure there is so much to uncover and I can't wait to dive in and do some research on that.

@designslinger

I was looking at Chicago, but it does seem that there isn't enough emphasis on my area there, so I won't be applying. I love the city though, especially considering the Field Museum is one my favorite places to visit there.
