  4. How about adding Newgrange: http://www.newgrange.com/ to your list? It's had a bit of a facelift but the essential structure is over 5000 years old, which makes it older than anything on your list - including the pyramids! It's an amazing feat of stonework and engineering considering the workers probably didn't even have the wheel - they constructed it in such a way that on the winter solistice light from the rising sun would fill the inner chamber, which remains dark for 364 days of the year.

    Newgrange was 500 years older than the pyramid but, it wasn't documented during 200BC.

    One thought was that the list was arranged after the reign of Alexander the Great. I guess he didn't think it was worthy of being on the list.
